OUR JAMAICAN DREAM HONEYMOON

Our honeymoon was amazing. We stayed at the Sandals “all inclusive resort” in Montego Bay. The beaches are gorgeous, it looks just like a movie set. The water is crystal clear and warm enough to dive right into.

The food was delicious. We ate somewhere different every night. My favorite was the Thai house, it was on it's own island and we had to ride a special boat to get there.

We also enjoyed the Japanese restaurant that made the food in front of you (Benihana style).
The Italian restaurant was extremely fancy. Scott had to run back and get dress shoes on because he got turned away for wearing sandals.

They provided so many activities for us, and it was all free! We got to go on paddle boats, glass bottom boat rides, play volleyball, and listen to live music. There was never a dull moment. Our favorite pass time was snorkeling. The boat took us out to some coral reef and we actually saw one of the locals dive in and capture some lobster for dinner.

We hiked up the Dunns River Falls. It was so tropical and beautiful. There were some rocks that you could actually slide down.

We also went horse back riding on the beach (I know, so cliché). These horses actually went swimming in the ocean. We thought it was hilarious that Scott was given the smallest horse. His feet were almost touching the ground when he sat on it.

It was such a fun and relaxing vacation. Everything that a honeymoon should be.

WEDDING DAY

September 13,2008 was the day that I married my best friend. We were sealed for time and all eternity in the Redlands temple. Scott and I drove to the temple together; we were so giddy and excited. It was such a special drive. Neither of us was nervous, it just felt so natural. We both knew it was exactly where we were supposed to be.

We took pictures on the temple grounds with all of our family. They're the best.

We seriously had the best wedding party!

Next we took pictures in the park. Erin did such a great job on these. When I saw them for the first time I didn’t realize that they were of us.

Our reception was so fun. We had it in Tim and Jeanne’s backyard and we ordered a tent so we could have some covering for the dance floor. We had so many loved ones celebrating with us. They made the night so special.

Our caterer was great and we LOVED our wedding cake. The DJ did a great job with the music and getting people out on the dance floor.

Our first dance was to “At Last” by Etta James. So true.

Daddy daughter dance was to “I loved her first” by Heartland. My dad always makes me a little emotional with his pep talks.

The night was perfect! It was filled with dancing, eating, and tons of friends.

By the end of the night Scott and I were anxious for the bouquet and garter toss so we could start the honeymoon :)

BRIDAL SHOWER

I had 2 amazing bridal showers. My sister in law, Andrea, hosted one for all of my friends. The food was awesome, and we played some really fun games. My favorite was the one where Scott was video taped answering questions about us. I would guess his answer, and then they would play his actual answer on the T.V.

My mom also hosted a shower at her house. A lot of people from church came, and it was so fun to see them. She put huge cupcakes on platters, and they were decorated so cute. I feel blessed to have so many friends and family celebrate this special event with me.

BACHELOR PARTY

Scott had such a great time in Utah with his Dad, Brothers, and Keith. Carla and Hilton planned so many fun activities for them.

Here are some pictures of what they did. They’re pretty self explanatory…

Rodeo!

Keith was doing pretty well for his first time riding a quad...

until he ate it!
Scott said the views were awesome, and the air was so clear.
He couldn't stop talking about how much fun he had on this trip. Thanks guys for making his bachelor party so memorable!
