April 2014

April was soooo fun!

We went to "Easter in the Park" the Saturday before Easter.

The kids had fun at the Easter egg hunt and Porter tuned into a tiger!

That same day was Jared's wedding. It was in our backyard, and Porter was the cutest ring bearer I've ever seen! It was such a sweet day. Jared wrote his own vows in the form of a poem...we laughed and cried, it was really touching.

Kristie was a gorgeous bride, and did an amazing job planning the whole thing.

We love her! Welcome to the family Kristie.

 Finally Easter came...

It was so fun to watch Porter open his basket.

He's at a fun age, and gets so excited now.

Max is just a doll.

We started the morning with the baskets, then we went to church.
The boys were so handsome.
Then we went to Brent and Andrea's. They were so nice to host it. Yummy food, and a ton of eggs for the kids to find.

The day wasn't over yet, next we had my family over for dinner. It was so fun hanging out with everyone. The kids colored eggs, and had ANOTHER egg hunt.

Spoiled rotten, I tell ya. (We may or may not have used the same eggs they already had)

Scott has been planning a hiking trip with the Quist's to go up Mt. Whitney. This month they decided to do a practice hike up Mt. Baldy.

Scott's a hottie, even with that adventure hat.

I have to post about Porter and Madi. They are so fun together. Brent and Andrea spoil him to death, and take him to the zoo, Sea World, the movies, and to play at their house.

He loves Madi, and asks to play with her on a daily basis!

Porter update:

When anyone tells him they love him, he says, "No, I love Mommy!"
Not going to lie, I love it!

Max update:

Crawls normal now (no Mogli)

Pulls himself up and stands holding on to something

Follows Porter everywhere!

Giggles at "touch and feel" books

Eats a lot of table food

More attached to mom, but reaches for dad too

Got 4 more teeth (6 total)

The last pic of the month...seriously, look how cute they are!

Matching PJ's...thanks Uncle Justin!
