We had to prepare in every way before the baby came.

First step...carve pumpkins!

We grew them in our garden. The boys loved watching them grow, but they loved carving them even more.

Next on our list was to go to the Pumpkin Patch.

It's a tradition to go to Live Oak every year.

My sister went through the temple for the first time. I was honored to be her escort. It was such a special day and I'm so happy for her!

      And of course, we had to get one last beach day in before our sweet girl arrives.                                                                                     

Charlie took Port on the surfboard for the first time!

Every month I try to write something down that each of the kids did or said. This month Porter lied to me for the first time. 

He wasn't suppose to have any more screen time, and I saw him run into the office. I called him into my room to ask him what he was doing in there and he said he was making a surprise for me, then he ran out of the room. Seconds later he walked back in and said, "Mom, that wasn't the truth. I was watching screen time. Sorry"

Sad that he lied to me, but happy that he quickly fixed it.

This month Max counted to 12 all by himself! He's such a smarty pants. 

I also love when he yells, "Mom, cuddle me". Oh my goodness, I just want to snuggle him all the time!
