June 2014

We kicked off June with a Williamson family vacation to the Grand Canyon!

Before we made it to the Canyon we stopped in Laughlin for a couple of days. We loved playing on the boat and at the beach at Catherine's landing.

WE stopped for lunch in this cute town...

As we were driving to the campground our trailer got a flat tire. We ended up having to drive back to that same town on route 66 to get it fixed.

After that small hiccup we were on our way to some fun family time!

The boys loved getting dirty...

and playing with their cousins.

The campsite was awesome! This was our backyard.

My favorite activity was going on bike rides.

Isn't this so pretty? The view's not bad either :)

Scott had to leave a couple days early, so I really appreciated all the help I received from the family. Tim and Jeanne were amazing and helped drive the trailer back for us, and Brent and Andrea let Porter ride with them in their RV.

Our family is incredible!

Max update...

Started walking on June 29th!

Says, "dadada and mamma"

says, " bye-bye" and waves

Loves to play patty cake and starts to do it on his own

plays "peek a boo" on his own

recently discovered his tongue, so he'll stick it out and pinch it with his fingers all day long. In fact, if he's awake, his tongue is stocking out.

Porter update...

He's such a kind brother to Max. He's always helping him, and giving him lots of love.

He's talking so clear now!

When I asked him what he loved about daddy, he said, "When we make bad choices".

What?!

This kid is toooo much...

Rest of May 2014

The rest of May...

I took the boys to Sea World! This was Max's first trip, and he loved it.

He even went in the play area for little ones!

Porter got to feed some hungry seals.

Max also got his first haircut this month.  The place was really great with kids, he got to sit in a jeep and watch cartoons!

Don't let this smile deceive you...

the second the clippers touched his head, he started screaming.

But he looks like such a handsome, big boy now!

Porter couldn't let a fun haircut pass him by...

he asked for one as soon as Max was done.

Max update...

crawls upstairs

cruises furniture

can stand on his own (not holding anything)

discovered his tongue and sticks it out all the time

dances anytime he hears music

Porter went to Fathers and Sons for the first time. He loved every minute of it!

Porter update...

Sings ABC's by himself

He's really into names, he'll ask everyone what their name is, and what their mom's name is, and their dad's..etc

Started telling us we're mean, when we don't give him what he wants :(

He's starting to have "nice hands" (hallelujah, the hitting phase is almost passed)

The funniest story this month is when he was playing outside and asked to play in the water. I got him undressed and told him I'd be right back with his swimmer diaper. By the time I got back outside he was so excited and told me, "Mom, I pooped like Amber!"
Sure enough, the kid pooped on our grass, just like the dog.

Scott had a lot of fun on his annual "guy trip". They went to Panguitch Lake in Utah, and caught tons of fish.

These boys couldn't wait for daddy to come home.

May 2014

We started the month off with a Kraft family vacation to Lake Tahoe!

This was quite an adventure because 2 days before we were suppose to leave, Scott pulled his back out, which made him unable to do much.

I don't know what I would have done without my brother, Justin. He helped us pack up the car, he drove with us, and helped me with the kids.

Even with Scott in pain and out of commission, we had a great time!

One of the first activities we did was fishing!

Port was so excited to catch his first fish!

He kept trying to lick it.

The highlight of the day was when Justin hooked himself!!! He tried not saying anything, but we all caught him.

We rewarded the kids handwork with popsicles.

Here's all the loot from the day.

It was so nice being able to hang out and play games together as a family.

This is what Scott looked like most of the time.

We did lots of fun and beautiful hikes...

And we even got a fun day in the snow!

Port couldn't stop talking about his horse ride!

The hike down to the water was my favorite...

The water was so clear...

We finished the trip off with a bike ride, and headed back home!
