October 2013

It's Halloween season!

It's so fun celebrating with Porter now that he has an idea of what's going on, and to see Max experience his first Halloween
.
Disneyland has an amazing Halloween fair in Frontierland. Mickey and his friends come out every hour to dance with the kids. It's never busy there, and we don't have to wait in any lines. Score!

Porter rushed to grab Mickey's hand and walked around with him for a good 10 minutes.

Max had his 12 week check up.
He weighs 13.5 lbs and is 26 inches long.
That puts him in the 98% for height. Just like daddy.
Weight was 65% and head 90%

At 13 weeks Max started rolling over from his back to his front.

He also started giggling at 13 weeks, and he's getting great use out of his bumbo.

This boy is growing up too fast.

Max LOVES to be around Porter. He truly lights up whenever he's around. And Porter is so good with him. Brotherly love at it's best!

Porter went to the dentist for the first time this month. He was such a brave little guy. Since it was his first visit the dentist just looked at his teeth with a little mirror, and brushed his teeth with a regular toothbrush while I held him in my lap. Then she painted on some fluoride and he was done!
He was excited to get his goody bag at the end of the visit.

He's been getting good use out of our backyard this month.
I don't know what it is about the hair, but he loves to rub stuff in it.

We went all out on Halloween this month.
The kids painted Halloween crafts...

wore monster teeth...

and we went to the Live Oak Pumpkin Patch.
This is Port's first time on a horse. The picture may not show it, but he was really enjoying himself.

It took forever to get these semi decent pictures...

This one's just hilarious. They've had enough!

Porter was a "Big boy" helping daddy carve his first Jack-o-lantern.

A few days before Halloween we went to "Trunk or Treat" at the church. We had a nice Williamson family dinner, then it was off to the cars to play games and get candy.

On Halloween, we went to the library to meet fairy tale characters. Porter wasn't too fond of the "Big bad wolf", but he liked Captain Hook. Go figure.

Then it was off to the neighborhood to collect candy with some friends. Scott wasn't feeling good so he stayed behind to pass out candy.

This is his sticky, happy face after we returned.
What a cute spiderman...

and a darling little tiger.
