April 2016

April was full of fun activities...

A couple years ago I got Scott a "Nascar Experience" for his birthday.
Well... he finally used it, and had a blast!
He said that he didn't even feel like he was going that fast, but his speed got up to 151 MPH.

The boys loved watching their daddy drive "Lightening McQueen".

I took the boys to the little museum here in Riverside, and they loved it!

We also started our summer garden.

and discovered a really fun kid place called "Romp-o-rama"
The pictures speak for themselves. My kids were occupied the entire 2 hours we were there.

We took our trailer out for the first time in a year. It was so fun experiencing Idyllwild with the Krepps. They're such fun friends.

Porter update:

He took swim lessons this month and had a bit of a rocky start. I didn't stay in the backyard when he had them because I didn't want to distract him, but after a couple lessons I went out there and realized he wasn't listening to his instructor at all. He just wanted to play in the water!

After 9 lessons, he's still not the best swimmer, but I think he knows enough to survive if he were to fall in.

Porter also had his music recital. He played 2 different instruments (Bells and autoharp), sang 3 songs, and was Aladdin in the classical music puppet show.
He was amazing, and I'm so proud of him.

Max update:

He is soooooo smart!
He knows all of his colors, sings his ABC's, and counts to 20 (he'll skip a few of the teens).

He speaks so clearly, he sounds way older than 2.

We nicknames him "sow poke" because he takes forever to walk anywhere.
It's seriously baby steps.

Kennedy:

How has 6 months gone by so fast?
We are just so in love with this baby girl.

At 6 months she...

weighs 17lbs

is 27.5 inches tall

has only rolled over a couple of times

can sit up on her own

wakes up twice a night

she's teething, but has no teeth yet

babbles a lot more..(mamma, daddy, and bababa)

Reaches for me!
